ExoFreeze Body Sculpting

Freeze the fat. Then let your body do the rest.

Controlled cooling to a targeted area, combined with EMS. The treatment takes 20 to 40 minutes. The result takes weeks — which is exactly how it’s supposed to work, and the part most clinics won’t tell you.

How it works

Fat cells are less cold-tolerant than the tissue around them.

That’s the whole mechanism. Applicators hold a treatment area at a controlled low temperature long enough to injure fat cells while skin, nerve, and muscle tissue tolerate the same exposure. The affected cells then die off and are cleared through your lymphatic system over the following weeks.

Our system pairs the cooling with EMS — electrical muscle stimulation on the same zone during the session. The console sets temperature, EMS intensity, and cycle time independently for each applicator, which is what lets a protocol be built around your body rather than a preset.

Cryolipolysis reduces fat in the area treated. It is a contouring treatment, not a weight-loss treatment — the scale may not move at all.

What actually happens, and when

The session is half an hour. The result is a season.

Nobody walks out of a cryolipolysis session looking different, and any clinic implying otherwise is selling you a disappointment. Here’s the real sequence.

A real DEXA image: lean tissue reads green, fat mass reads red. Highlighted areas are indicative — your report gives exact figures for each region, in grams and as a percentage.

Day 0 - 20–40 min

The session

Intense cold for the first few minutes, then the area goes numb and most people read or nap through the rest. Afterwards the treated area looks firm and slightly raised, and is massaged briefly. You go straight back to your day.

Week 1 - expected

Normal after-effects

Redness, swelling, tenderness, bruising, tingling, cramping, and numbness in the treated area are all common and expected. Numbness in particular can last several weeks before it fully resolves. None of this means something has gone wrong — but tell us if anything worsens rather than settles.

Clearance - gradual

Your body clears the cells

Affected fat cells are broken down and removed through your lymphatic system over several weeks. This is gradual and invisible while it’s happening. There is nothing to do during this window except live normally — no supplement, wrap, or massage protocol speeds it up.

Result - 8–12 weeks

When you'd expect to see change

Change in the treated area typically becomes apparent between eight and twelve weeks, and this is the point at which it’s worth assessing honestly. Results vary considerably between individuals, and some people see less change than they hoped. A follow-up DEXA scan is the least flattering and most useful way to find out which you are.

Your session

Twenty to forty minutes on a table, mostly on your phone.

You stay fully clothed. Nothing touches you.

Consultation

Zones agreed before anything is booked

We assess the areas you want treated, check you’re a suitable candidate, and tell you honestly if you’re not. Cryolipolysis works on pinchable subcutaneous fat — if what’s bothering you is visceral fat or loose skin, this isn’t the right treatment and we’ll say so.

Prep

Marked, filmed, positioned

In a private suite, the zone is marked and a protective membrane applied. You stay clothed except for the treatment area.

Treatment

Cold for five minutes, then numb

The first few minutes are genuinely cold and there’s a pulling sensation as the applicator engages. After that the area numbs and most clients read, work, or sleep. 20–40 minutes depending on how many zones.

After

A short massage, then out

The area is massaged briefly to support clearance. No downtime — you drive yourself home and go back to normal immediately. Then the waiting starts.

Who it suits

Right for a stubborn area. Wrong for a weight problem.

It is not a weight-loss treatment, not a substitute for exercise or nutrition, and it does not tighten loose skin. If you’re looking for overall weight reduction, say so at consultation and we’ll point you somewhere more useful.

Risks and screening

What you should know before consenting.

Paradoxical adipose hyperplasia (PAH) is the recognised adverse event of cryolipolysis: instead of shrinking, the treated area gradually enlarges and firms, typically becoming apparent a few months after treatment. It is uncommon, it does not resolve on its own, and correction generally requires surgery. It is reported more often in men and in abdominal treatments. You should know this before you book, not after.

We cannot treat you if you have any of the following:

Bleeding disorders, anticoagulants, and recent surgery also need review. Every client completes a screening form and signs an informed-consent document before their first session.

A note on claims

The numbers we will and won't put on this page.

Published cryolipolysis studies report reductions in fat-layer thickness in treated areas after a completed series. Those figures come from controlled trials with specific devices and protocols, and quoting them as though they’re what you’ll get is how this industry earns its reputation. Individual results vary widely and are not guaranteed.

So we won’t promise you a percentage. What we’ll do is scan you before, treat the zone, scan you again at twelve weeks, and show you the actual number for your body — whatever it turns out to be.

Common questions

The most common questions.

Most protocols run four to six sessions per zone, spaced several weeks apart. We’ll give you a number at consultation based on the area and how much there is to treat — and we’d rather quote you honestly than quote you low.

The first five minutes are genuinely cold, with a strong pulling sensation as the applicator engages. Then the area numbs and most people stop noticing it. Afterwards, tenderness and cramping in the treated area are common for a few days.

Probably not, and that’s not what this is. Cryolipolysis reduces fat in a treated area. The amount removed is small relative to total body mass, so the scale often doesn’t move. It changes shape, not weight.

Fat cells removed in the treated area don’t come back. But the cells that remain — there and everywhere else — can still enlarge if your weight rises. The result lasts if your weight is stable.

Some people don’t, or see less than they hoped. That’s why we scan before and after rather than relying on how it looks in the mirror. If your twelve-week scan shows little change in the treated area, we’ll tell you that plainly and talk about whether continuing makes sense.

Anyone with a cold-related blood disorder, Raynaud’s or severe cold sensitivity, pregnancy, a hernia at the site, impaired sensation in the area, or an implanted electronic device. The full list and the risks — including paradoxical adipose hyperplasia — are set out above and covered in your consent form.
