How these differ from a spa facial

Devices doing the work, not hands and hope.

A traditional facial is largely manual — cleanse, massage, mask, product. That’s genuinely pleasant, and for some skin it’s enough.

Ours is built around one piece of equipment used properly: the ExoFreeze cryo wand — the same applicator we use for body treatments, sized and handled for the face. The device sets the temperature and the dose, so the treatment is repeatable rather than dependent on who’s working that day.

That doesn’t make a device facial automatically better than a good manual one. It makes it different, and better suited to specific concerns — which is why there are five of them rather than one, and why we’d rather match you to the right one than sell you the most expensive.

The facial menu

One treatment. Three levels.

All three use the same cold technology. What changes is how much of you it covers — and, at the top, whether heat comes into it.

WARM ALTERNATING COLD

Precisely controlled cooling applied to the face. Minimises the appearance of pores, softens fine lines, and leaves skin looking brighter and tighter. Worked one side at a time, 10–15 minutes each, so a session runs 20–30 minutes.

Single sessions are fine for an event. For anything lasting, the manufacturer’s protocol is a minimum of five, one to two a week — see the programmes below.

The same treatment extended to jawline, neck, and décolletage — where firmness goes first. There are dedicated programmes for the double chin and for neck laxity, and they run at different frequencies, so this is worth booking as a course rather than one-off.

Neck and décolletage responds more slowly than the face: five to ten sessions, once a week.

Our signature, and a different protocol rather than simply more coverage. Alternating warm and cold cycles across face, neck, and décolletage using the same handpiece — heat to open and increase circulation, cold to tighten and calm. You can watch it switch: the wand runs red when warming, blue when cooling. The contrast is the point. 30–45 minutes.

Cumulative rather than instant: plan at least five sessions across a few weeks, then maintenance twice a month.

Blue — cooling

Red — warming

Targeted cold applied to the face and neck using the ExoFreeze wand. Reduces puffiness, minimizes pores, calms redness, and delivers an immediate skin-brightening effect. The entry point to cryo skincare.

Choosing

Book the consultation before you book the facial.

Face lifting

Overall tone and lift

Twice a week, five sessions minimum, about 11 minutes a side. The most-requested programme and the usual starting point.

Wrinkles & ageing

Fine lines, loss of firmness

Twice a week across five to eight sessions, 12–14 minutes a side. The longest programme on the list, and the one where consistency matters most.

Double chin

Definition under the jaw

Twice a week, five sessions, 10 minutes a side. Ask about the neck add-on — most people treating the chin want the jawline and neck done at the same time.

Neck & décolletage

Laxity below the jaw

Once a week, five to ten sessions, around 14 minutes a side. Slower than the face programmes — this is the one that needs patience.

Congestion

Acne-prone or congested skin

Twice a week, three to five sessions, 15 minutes a side. Often the shortest course on the list, and people usually notice it soonest.

Redness

Couperose and rosacea-prone skin

Once a week, five sessions, 8 minutes a side — a gentler, shorter protocol built specifically for reactive skin. Tell us at consultation so we run this one rather than a standard programme.

Once you're there

Maintenance

Twice a month keeps most results where you got them. That’s the honest ongoing commitment — worth knowing before you start rather than after.

Concerns we treat

Most skin, most concerns — not all of them.

Facials here are cosmetic treatments. They are not medical care for a skin condition — if you’re managing acne, eczema, or rosacea clinically, work with your dermatologist and tell us what they’ve advised.

Before you book

What we screen for.

Different treatments have different limits, so tell us about any of the following at consultation and we’ll steer you to the right one — or tell you to wait.

A patch test or a shorter first session is often the right answer for sensitive skin. Ask.

A note on claims

What we won't tell you about a facial.

That it’s the only one of its kind in the area, that results are visible after one visit, or that it works faster and lasts longer than whatever you had somewhere else. Those are the standard claims in this category and none of them survive contact with a specific question.

What’s fair to say: cold reduces puffiness and redness quickly, and you will see that the same day. Everything to do with collagen, firmness, and pigmentation is cumulative — a course of four to eight, judged over a couple of months. Anyone promising you structural change from a single appointment is selling the appointment.

The treatment

Glowing skin, by design.

Pricing

Three levels. One decision.

Single-session prices are shown above, but course and membership rates are set at consultation once we know which programme fits — that’s almost always the better value, and we’d rather quote it properly than sell you five sessions one at a time. Facials are also included at member rates across the Restore, Reshape, and Radiate tiers.

Common questions

Common questions.

Ours is built around the ExoFreeze cryo wand rather than manual technique and product. The device sets the temperature and the dose, so the treatment is repeatable rather than dependent on who’s working that day. That doesn’t make it better than a good manual facial for every person — it makes it a different tool, aimed at puffiness, redness, and firmness specifically.

Face only if it’s a one-off before an event. Add neck and décolletage if the jawline or neck is what bothers you. The Shock if you want the fuller protocol. More useful than the tier, though, is the programme — lifting, wrinkles, double chin, congestion, redness — because that sets the frequency and the number of sessions. The consultation sorts this in fifteen minutes and it’s free.

No. The cold is bracing for a few seconds at a time and most people find it pleasant. In The Shock, the warm phases are comfortable and the contrast is the part clients tend to like most. If you’re sensitive to cold, tell us and we’ll moderate it.

For puffiness and redness, yes — the same day, lasting a few days. For firmness and texture, no. Those change slowly and only with repetition, and anyone promising structural change from a single appointment is selling the appointment.

More often than most people expect. The manufacturer’s protocols run one to two sessions a week for a minimum of five, depending on what we’re treating — then twice a month to hold it. A single session before an event is a real thing, but it isn’t how the results are built.

Yes, and it’s a common pairing — an ExoPod session followed by a Cryo Facial works well. Tell us when booking so we can allow the time.

None. You can go straight back to your day. Some people have a little pinkness for an hour or so after, which settles on its own.
