EMSCULPT NEO — body sculpting

30% less fat. 25% more muscle. Four sessions.

Those are the averages across seven clinical studies — measured by MRI, CT and ultrasound, not by eye. The only FDA-cleared device that builds muscle and reduces fat at the same time, in the same thirty minutes, through the same applicator.

Average results in treated areas after a four-session course, from published clinical studies of HIFEM+RF. Individual results vary and are not guaranteed.

Why the numbers are that high

Because it does two things at once, not one.

Cryolipolysis reduces fat. Electrical stimulation contracts muscle. Every other device picks a side. EMSCULPT NEO runs radiofrequency and electromagnetic energy through a single applicator simultaneously — and that combination is what earned it the first FDA clearance of its kind.

RF heats the fat layer to the point where fat cells break down. At the same moment, HIFEM drives roughly 20,000 supramaximal contractions — a level of contraction your own nervous system won’t allow you to produce voluntarily, no matter how hard you train.

Thirty minutes. Four sessions. You lie still for all of it.

How it works

Two energies, two depths, one applicator.

Select one to see where it acts.

SKIN FAT LAYER FASCIA MUSCLE APPLICATOR

Published clinical trials of HIFEM+RF report average reductions in subcutaneous fat and average increases in muscle thickness in treated areas across a completed course. Those are trial averages under study conditions — individual results vary considerably and are not guaranteed. We’d rather you saw the range than a headline percentage.

RF energy raises the temperature of the subcutaneous fat layer. It also warms the muscle beneath, which is why the session begins with a few minutes of heating — the equivalent of a warm-up before the contractions start.

High-intensity focused electromagnetic energy passes through skin and fat without being absorbed by them, and acts directly on the motor neurons of the muscle underneath. The result is supramaximal contraction — deeper and more complete than voluntary effort, because your own nervous system limits how hard you can contract a muscle.

Delivering both at once is what distinguishes this device — the heating and the contractions happen in the same thirty minutes rather than as two separate treatments on two separate days. It is the first device FDA-cleared for simultaneous fat reduction and muscle building.

The part nobody talks about

It reaches the fat you can't pinch.

Most body treatments only act on subcutaneous fat — the layer just under the skin, the part you can grab. Liposuction can’t remove visceral fat. Cryolipolysis can’t reach it. It sits deeper, wrapped around your organs, and it’s the fat most strongly associated with metabolic risk.

Published studies of HIFEM+RF report an average reduction of around 14% in visceral fat alongside the 30% subcutaneous reduction — an effect attributed to the metabolic demand of 20,000 contractions rather than to the heating itself.

Which raises an obvious question: how would you ever know? You can’t see visceral fat, and you can’t feel it. A DEXA scan measures it directly, in grams. We’re one of the few places that can scan you before, treat you, and scan you again.

Your session

Strange for five minutes. Then oddly satisfying.

You lie still. The applicator is strapped in place and does the work.
Consultation

Area, suitability, and a realistic answer

We assess the area you want treated and check you’re a candidate. The device is cleared for patients up to a BMI of 35, and it works best on people already reasonably active — if what you need is overall weight loss, we’ll say so rather than sell you four sessions.

Setup

Applicator positioned and secured

You lie down fully clothed except for the treatment area. The applicator is strapped over the target muscle group and the intensity is set — starting low and building.

Minutes 0–30

Warming, then contractions

A few minutes of warmth first. Then the contractions begin — an intense, involuntary tightening that feels unlike anything you can do yourself. Not painful, but unfamiliar. We increase intensity as you get used to it, and you can ask us to dial it back at any point.

After

Straight back to your day

No downtime at all. Some people feel a mild soreness the next day, similar to a good training session. Most protocols run four sessions across two to three weeks, then a reassessment.

Who it suits

Two people arrive here. Both have been told to strengthen it.

One has been told to sit out and wait. The other has been told this is just what getting older looks like. Both need the same thing: muscle around a joint that isn’t getting any.

A note on claims

What the studies actually measured.

Seven clinical studies, with fat and muscle measured by MRI, CT and ultrasound rather than by photograph. Across them: around 30% reduction in subcutaneous fat in the treated area, around 25% increase in muscle mass, roughly 14% reduction in visceral fat, and a reported reduction in abdominal separation.

Those are averages from study populations under study conditions. Your body isn’t an average, and we’re not going to promise you the headline. What we’ll do is measure you before and after with DEXA, so the number you end up quoting is your own.

Getting started

We quote after the consultation, not before.

How many sessions you need depends on the area, how many areas, and what you’re starting from — so a price on a web page would be a guess, and usually a low one designed to get you through the door.

Book a consultation instead. It’s free, it takes about twenty minutes, and you’ll leave knowing whether you’re a candidate, how many sessions we’d recommend, and exactly what it costs. If we don’t think it’s right for you, we’ll say that too.

Common questions

Common questions.

Those are the averages reported across clinical studies, in the treated area, after four sessions. Some people do better, some do less well, and it depends heavily on where you’re starting from. We won’t promise you a number — we’ll measure you and show you yours.

Warm for the first few minutes, then an intense pulling and tightening as the muscle contracts — far stronger than anything you’d produce voluntarily. Strange at first, then most people settle into it. It shouldn’t hurt; tell us if it does and we’ll reduce the intensity.

Four sessions across two to three weeks is the standard course. Muscle response builds over the weeks after, and fat changes take longer — assess it properly at around twelve weeks. Nobody looks different after one session.

No. It changes muscle and fat in the areas treated. The scale may barely move, because you’re losing fat and gaining muscle at the same time and muscle is denser. That’s exactly why we’d rather scan you than weigh you.

Cryolipolysis only reduces fat — it does nothing for muscle, and it can’t reach visceral fat. This does both, in one session. We offer ExoFreeze cryo as well, and we’ll tell you honestly which is the better fit for what you want.

It works better on people who are already active, and results hold better if you keep training and eating sensibly afterwards. It amplifies what you’re doing; it doesn’t replace it.

Because the honest answer depends on how many areas and how many sessions. The consultation is free and you’ll leave with a firm number.
