We’re a small team with a genuine passion for helping people feel healthier, stronger, and more confident.
The technology we use can provide incredible insights, but what matters most is helping you understand what those insights mean for your own health. We take the time to explain your results, answer your questions, and make sure you leave with a clear understanding — not just a report.
Whether it’s your first visit or you’re coming back to track your progress, we’re here to support you every step of the way.
Founders
Founder
Fouzia founded Nawra on a simple frustration: the wellness industry sells confidence and rarely sells evidence. Running DexaFit Los Alamitos showed her how differently people approach their health once they can see their own body composition data. Nawra is the studio she wanted to exist — measurement first, treatment second.
She is a certified Bone Densitometry (DXA) Technician and a certified High Performance Coach. She sets the standard the team holds to: measure honestly, explain plainly, and tell people when a treatment isn’t right for them.
Co-founder · Medical Supervisor
Dr. Ahmed is a licensed physician, co-founder of Nawra, and a pillar of the studio. He holds clinical responsibility for the studio’s medical protocols, including the functional EMSCULPT NEO indications, which the device requires to be delivered under medical supervision.
His role is to make sure what the studio offers stays inside what the evidence and the clearances actually support. Protocols are reviewed and signed off clinically rather than chosen from a menu.
Our people
Zaina is a Kinesiology student and certified Bone Densitometry (DXA) Technician with a strong background in nutrition and human performance. Known for her precision and professionalism, she gives clients detailed explanations of their results — helping them understand their body composition and health metrics with clarity and confidence.
Passionate about preventive health, she approaches every consultation with care and curiosity, so each client leaves informed, supported, and clear on what to do next. She plans to pursue medical school, and her enthusiasm for the science shows in how she explains it.
Wellness Consultant
Jill is a wellness consultant and a competitive tennis player — which means she understands from experience what it takes to keep a body working, and how frustrating it is when it doesn’t. She guides clients through their options, from a first DEXA scan to a full treatment plan, with an emphasis on what will realistically fit into a life that’s already full.
A mother of two, she is direct about what treatments can and can’t do, and clients tend to trust her for exactly that reason.
The consultation is free and takes about fifteen minutes. You’ll leave knowing whether we can help — and if we can’t, where to look instead.
