What the ExoPod is

Six recovery inputs, in the time it takes to get to one appointment.

Most recovery tools do one thing well. A sauna heats. A light panel delivers photons. A PEMF mat runs a magnetic field. Each works — if you actually show up for all of them, every week.

The ExoPod runs six systems simultaneously in a single thirty-minute session. The argument isn’t that any one modality is stronger here than in a dedicated device. It’s that a routine you keep beats a routine you admire.

The session is automated and entirely passive. You choose which systems run, you lie down, and the pod does the rest.

The systems

What reaches how deep.

Four systems act in or through tissue. Two work in the air around you. Select one to see where it acts — and what the research does, and doesn’t, support.

Depths are approximate, based on published ranges for each wavelength class and modality type. Verify against ExoPod manufacturer specification before publishing.

The pod’s infrared thermal system creates a controlled warm environment across the whole body. Far infrared has published research behind it for supporting circulation, easing muscle soreness, and aiding recovery. It’s one component of the pod — not a dedicated infrared therapy device, and not a traditional sauna.

Red and near-infrared light. Visible red wavelengths are absorbed in skin and dermis; longer near-infrared wavelengths reach further into subcutaneous tissue. Photobiomodulation research suggests roles in collagen stimulation, skin renewal, and cellular energy production. Included as one modality — not a substitute for a dedicated clinical light panel.

A pulsed magnetic field passes through tissue rather than being absorbed at a set depth, so it acts across the whole body at once. PEMF has been studied for its potential to support circulation and cellular function.

A gentle whole-body pulse frequency, associated in the literature with lymphatic flow and circulation support. Entirely passive — you lie still and the pod works.

Ionised air is introduced inside the pod, freshening the breathing environment through the session. This one works around you rather than in you.

Adjustable colour and intensity, set to your preference at the start of the session. The point is the nervous system: a dim, warm, enclosed environment is what shifts you into rest mode, and that’s half of what makes thirty minutes feel restorative.

Your visit

Nobody explains what actually happens. Here's the whole thing.

Each modality can be activated independently or in combination. Here is what each one does and what the research says about it.

Before you come

Hydrate, and don't arrive full

Drink plenty of water in the hours beforehand, and avoid a heavy meal. If you have long hair, bring a tie — you’ll want it up.

On arrival

Your suite, to yourself

You’re shown straight to a private suite — no shared floor, no waiting area. You change and prepare in private, and a consultant confirms your settings before leaving you to it.

Minutes 0–30

You lie down. That's the whole job.

The canopy closes over your body with your head remaining outside and open to the room. Most people describe it as warm, quiet, and easy to fall asleep in.

After

Back to your day

You’ll have worked up a light sweat. No downtime, no recovery period — most clients rinse off, dress, and go straight back to work.

ExoPod Activation Module — modalities are selectable per session.

Who it's for

A passive session for people who want more than relaxation.

The ExoPod complements an active lifestyle. It is not a replacement for exercise, physical therapy, or medical treatment.

Before you book

It isn't right for everyone.

The pod combines heat, a magnetic field, and vibration. Tell us at consultation if any of the following apply — some are absolute contraindications, others simply change how we run your session.

Every client completes a health screen before their first session. If you’re unsure, ask before you book — we’d rather turn a session away than run one we shouldn’t.

A note on claims

We'd rather under-promise than sell you a detox.

You’ll find wellness pods advertised as flushing out toxins, burning fat, and reversing ageing. We don’t say any of that, because the evidence doesn’t support it and you deserve better than marketing.

What we will say: individual modalities in this pod — particularly far infrared and red and near-infrared light — have published research behind them for circulation, recovery, and skin. The ExoPod is a complementary wellness tool that makes a consistent recovery habit realistic. That’s a smaller claim than our competitors make. It’s also one we can stand behind.

Common questions

Before you book.

No. A sauna heats, and that’s it. The ExoPod uses infrared thermal energy as one of six systems, alongside red and near-infrared light, magnetic field therapy, vibration, oxygen-ion air, and ambient light — all running in the same session. It’s also not a dedicated infrared therapy device.

You’ll change in the privacy of your own suite. Light athletic wear or the robe we provide both work — we’ll talk you through the options at your first visit so you’re comfortable.

Your head stays outside the canopy and the suite is yours alone, with lighting you control. If enclosed spaces are difficult for you, tell us before booking and we’ll walk you to the pod first so you can see it before committing to a session.

Most people describe the session itself as deeply relaxing and report feeling looser afterward. Beyond that we won’t put a number on it, because we haven’t measured one and neither has anyone else advertising this device. Recovery is cumulative — judge it after a month, not after one visit.

Once or twice a week is the cadence most clients settle into. The five-session package is built around roughly a month at that rate.

Anyone with a pacemaker or implanted electronic device, and anyone who is pregnant, should not use the pod. Cardiovascular conditions, heat-regulation issues, recent surgery, and seizure disorders all require screening first. The full list is above — tell us at consultation.

Yes. ExoPod pairs most often with ExoFreeze cryo and our facial protocols, and a consultant can sequence them so you’re not doubling up on the same effect in one week.
